Looking for Best Practice in Governance for Small Arts Organisations

Tim Creative arts, creative, governance, leadership

The issue of appropriate governance is a vitally important issue for small (arts) organisations going through change.

I am currently doing some work on leadership and governance for a client and I am looking at appropriate “best practice” model that is appropriate and doesn’t get them too bogged down.

I have already looked at various models, checklists and processes including ACEVO’s governance process, the Carver Policy Governance Model, NCIA’s Independence Audit, Missions:Models:Money and the Charity Commission, for example.

I was wondering if you know any other models/case studies from other small arts organisations that might cater for or give guidance to the needs of the client I am working with?

Any help would be most appreciated. Please drop me an email: tim@creative-knowledge.com.
