Introducing A Colourful Crowd, New Art Gallery Walsall.

A Colourful Crowd is new programme launched in August 2012 which will break new ground in how young people engage with and take control of events and activities around New Art Gallery Walsall.

Inspired by the upcoming Damien Hirst Artist Rooms exhibition, beginning in October, a group of young people will act as advocates and champions for the gallery, turning conventions on their head, and like Hirst, deviating from the norms of how art galleries or cultural institutions work with young people.

This is a exciting period for the New Art Gallery and our new Colourful Crowd of young champions is integral to shaping how we work with young people in the future
