Delivering MakeyMakey workshop at The Festival of Imagination
Imagination is coming ….
I’m delighted to be working with Birmingham City University to deliver a very public Makey Makey workshop at Birmingham’s Selfridges store on Friday 21st February as part of their Festival of Imagination.
Held at Selfridges’s London, Manchester and Birmingham stores, the festival is a unique and public “portal into the creative mind”, a five-week store-wide campaign which will explore the nature, power and positive impact of imagination.
The festival promises inspirational talks, interactive debates and workshops and the #MakeyMakey workshop fits right into the heart of this.
Having already delivered MakeyMakey workshops with businesses, the opportunity to take this brilliant piece of kit to a public audience during half term week is so enticing, and directly relates to Harry Selfridges’s mantra, to “develop imagination” and “throw away routine”.
The workshop is designed for people of all ages to develop new ideas and have some fun. Individuals will unlock their imagination by turning everyday objects into innovative devices
