We’re delighted return to Worcester for a Code Club meetup at the fantastic Waterside offices of our supporters PCA Predict on Wednesday 21st July.
These events are our way of saying thank you to our existing hosts and volunteers and hello to those of you who are new to Code Club.
Over 25 venues including schools and libraries have started Code Clubs across Worcestershire. Many more clubs are seeking great volunteers across Worcestershire and the region at large to get started.
This is your opportunity to:
– meet the people involved in the other clubs so we can share resources and help each other.
– find out what it’s like to run a Code Club, or what other Code Clubs have been doing.
Oh, and there will be complimentary refreshments for you too all to devour as well.
As well as the latest Code Club news, the evening will include chance to tinker with BBC micro:bits and try out the new Code Club micro:bit projects as well as dabble in other bits of tech too.
If you’ve got an idea for a short talk (either one you’d like to do or something you’d like to hear about), then please contact Tim at westmidlands@codeclub.org.uk or tweet me@codeclubwmids.
Our volunteers go to their local club for an hour a week and teach one project a week. Many of the projects use Scratch, for example.
I look forward to seeing you on the 21st July.
