You are invited to Summerfield Community Centre on Friday October 16th, 12.30pm-2pm for the launch of the Samsung Code Club Regional Hub in Birmingham.
Code Club have joined forces with our partners at Samsung to officially open the Samsung Code Club Regional Hub in Birmingham. The Hub will provide facilities for children in the community to get involved in digital making and to train volunteers to inspire children to learn to code.
The Hub is an accessible public place, open to young people and equipped with Samsung laptops, which Code Clubs can use in their weekly sessions. The Hub also hosts training sessions throughout the year to help new volunteers set up clubs across the West Midlands, and give more children a chance to develop digital skills.
We’re super excited to be launching the Samsung Code Club Regional Hub at Summerfield Community Centre, at the heart of the community in Winson Green and inner-city Birmingham.
Refreshments will be served and there will be opportunities to try out some of the many great Code Club activities that will be taking place at the new Hub.
