What is Code Club?
Code Club is a nationwide network of volunteer-led after-school coding clubs for children aged 9-11
Venues including schools and libraries all over the Black Country and the region more widely are seeking volunteers to run after-school Code Clubs for pupils and to help teachers deliver the new Computing curriculum.
We create projects for our volunteers to teach at after school coding clubs or at non school venues such as libraries. The projects we make teach children how to program by showing them how to make computer games, animations and websites. Our volunteers go to their local club for an hour a week and teach one project a week. Many of the projects use Scratch.

FAQs
What are my transport options getting to the event?
Wolverhampton has excellent public transport options. The Wulfruna Campus is a five to ten minute walk from Wolverhampton Train Station, Wolverhampton St. George’s Metro stop and the main bus station.
If you are coming by car, although there is only very limited metered parking by the main reception on Wulfruna Street, there are a number of public pay car parks within walking distance. Of these, the Civic Centre car park, at the end of Wulfruna Street, or the long-term car park off Whitmore/Broad Street are the closest. Parking spaces are indicated here uow_wolv_street_map.pdf.
