Upcoming event – ‘disruptive spaces for the new creative economy’
Hosted as part of Birmingham Digital Week, I am working with Birmingham City University on an event being held at Birmingham Open Media, one of the city’s most newest and talked-about spaces, for a one day event all about the future of cities and what is making the new creative economy tick.
Birmingham is a city buzzing with imagination and experimentation. Its emerging and disruptive creative and technology networks contribute not only to the city’s efficiency and sustainability; they are also what make Brum so unpredictable and full of possibility.
The event will also introduce new things that are happening in Birmingham, such as our new upcoming monthly MakerMonday series – accessible events where we will share skills, ideas and projects around creativity and technologies in a thematic, practical and jargon free way.

The biggest contributor to this event is ‘you’.
The most persuasive means of engagement is to get everyone ‘taking part’ and in on the ‘action’ and we hope to get you fully involved in co-creation and collaboration as well.
We can’t wait to see you sharing your ideas and inspiration as well, so please join us for what promises to be a really interesting day.
Please note places are limited so please book now to avoid missing out.
