Tim appointed as Regional Lead for new charity ArriveAlive.
I have been appointed to work with new charity ArriveAlive to lead the regional launch in the Birmingham area.
The campaign is based around raising funds for the building helipads for children’s hospitals, as currently only a small number of England’s Children’s Hospitals have this capability. The campaign is innovative – not only raising money through traditional online and offline means but also through recycling drinks cans, as the same high-grade aluminium in drinks cans is used in the building of helipads.
I am lead the recruitment of an Events and Comms team and ArriveAlive will be making appearance at various indie venues across the city imminently, from the week beginning Monday 18th March 2013. More information to follow but basically the job is to spread the word to as many people and businesses as possible, raise money, recycle cans and get those helipads built!
This exciting campaign is a great opportunity for independent retailers and shops to recycle their aluminium for a great cause but also to encourage their customers as well.
If you want to get on board and recycle, fundraise or host a taster event, please contact me – tim@indielove.co.uk.
